The Truth

Joseph Mayo Wristen

Tomorrows seeds pollinated
by the decay of yesterdays foil.

The leaves of Fall dropping to
the ground. A flower bud, the
touch of fragrance. The earth’s
soil mixed. The bones of life
found in the dust of death. The
roots of the plant reaching
down to Nature’s gift. Its stems
reaching out to the Sun. The
cycle of life, a never changing
breath. Rainboe colors that wait
between the sounds of evolution.
The sweet smell of life found in
the dew. Out of the darkness the
spirits of the Angels who are here
waiting to take us to our next life.

Shadows of light that have touched
our existence; They are here to
answer our questions concerning
the plans behind
the next journey of our last death.

Add Keyword Tags

Separate each tag with a space. You may add as many tags as you'd like to each poem.

What are tags?
Tags, sometimes called “folksonomies,” are words that describe or categorize a poem, like “20th century modernism” or “Italian sonnet”. Tags can help you find poems that have something in common, based on how other people classify them.
