To Revenita (09)

Madge Morris Wagner

Thou hast beamed on my pathway, a vision of light,
  To guide and to bless from afar;
To illume with thy smile the dead chill of night,
  My star, my bright, beautiful star.

The sun pales before thee, the moon is a blot
  On the sky where thine own splendors are;
And dark is the day where thy presence is not,
  My star, my bright, beautiful star.
                                          SANSON.

Add Keyword Tags

Separate each tag with a space. You may add as many tags as you'd like to each poem.

What are tags?
Tags, sometimes called “folksonomies,” are words that describe or categorize a poem, like “20th century modernism” or “Italian sonnet”. Tags can help you find poems that have something in common, based on how other people classify them.
