Un pitre caché dans ma forêt
Derrière l’arbre le plus secret
Bondit souvent sur l’étroit passage
Qu’aveuglé je me fraie dans ma rage
Ou bien replié sur ma douleur,
Sur un espoir brisé qui se meurt.
Roulant des yeux il fait son guignol,
Singe ma folie et cabriole
En habit de clown bariolé
À m’en laisser tout éberlué,
Incapable de me souvenir
Des tourments qui me faisaient courir.
Un pitre caché dans ma forêt
Reverdit l’arbre le plus secret.
