Frog And Toad

Christina Rossetti

Hopping frog, hop here and be seen,
  I’ll not pelt you with stick or stone:
Your cap is laced and your coat is green;
  Good bye, we’ll let each other alone.

Plodding toad, plod here and be looked at,
  You the finger of scorn is crooked at:
But though you’re lumpish, you’re harmless too;
  You won’t hurt me, and I won’t hurt you.

Add Keyword Tags

Separate each tag with a space. You may add as many tags as you'd like to each poem.

What are tags?
Tags, sometimes called “folksonomies,” are words that describe or categorize a poem, like “20th century modernism” or “Italian sonnet”. Tags can help you find poems that have something in common, based on how other people classify them.
