
C. Dale Young grew up in the Caribbean and south Florida. He received both M.F.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
He is the author of a collection of poems, The Day Underneath the Day (TriQuarterly Books, 2001), and his work has appeared in The Best American Poetry 1996, The New Republic, The Paris Review, Partisan Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, and elsewhere.
He now practices medicine (Radiation Oncology) in the San Francisco Bay Area and also serves as the poetry editor of New England Review.
